9 year old girl presented with a right posterior neck mass. It was first noticed approximately 6 weeks ago, during an episode of mild cough and runny nose which seemed like they were simply allergy-related. Strep and flu screens were negative. One week later, she developed vomiting. There was a possible history of being scratched in the nose by their hairless cat several weeks prior to this. it was felt that this was most consistent with cat scratch disease. Since that time, the mass seem growing. She denied fever, weigh loss or night sweating. The excisional biopsy was performed.
