14 yo female presented with a thyroid nodule. Fine needle aspiration (FNA) of the specimen was sent for flow cytometry study. The finding is shown as follows.

CD20 reveals two B cell populations.
CD10 vs CD20 shows a "horizontal hockey stick" pattern. Bright CD20+ B cells (purple) are slightly larger (higher FSC)and weakly CD10+.
Bright CD20+ B cells are mostly negative for surface light chains.
Dim to intermediate CD20+ B cells (blue) are polytypic.
